Jaye Edwards
With 8 thriving salons, 1 killer haircare brand, a cult social media following and an internationally recognised team of educators, Jaye Edwards reps a new breed of entrepreneur, with a razor sharp view on the industry and how to make it work in 2021. Pioneering the EdwardsAndCo movement, Jaye’s signature future proof colours and seamless blends inspired a generation of rich-girl hair, saturating instagram feeds all over the world. Each of Jaye’s 8 salons house Australia’s most refined hair stylists and makeup artists. Famous for sparkling brunettes, killer curls, creamy blondes and textured beach waves, Jaye and his team have developed a signature look that is synonymous with the E+Co brand, garnering an enviable international following. Equally as impressive are the salons themselves. Jaye has created instantly recognisable spaces that speak to a generation of creatives. They are raw and minimal in design, with spacious and bright interiors, hidden behind the walls of endlessly chic warehouses. Charmayne Robinson
Charmayne has been in the hairdressing industry for over 10 years and has been a colour specialist for 6 of those years. Over the years, she has worked on various hair shows, competitions, campaigns and creative photographic collections. Her biggest career highlight was being awarded the 2018 AHFA Australian Colourist of the Year. Coming from a very technically trained background, she has a flair for precision colour work but love personalising every look to each individual client. A quote that she loves is “life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself”. Charmayne is a master colourist at our Fortitude Valley location and has recently joined our EdwardsAndCo Education team.
Matthew Jones
Matthew’s hairdressing career began in central QLD, sweeping floors at the age of 15. He had a rocky start to his apprenticeship but soon happened upon Oscar Oscar salons in Brisbane where he worked for 16 years. Training with some of the industry’s leading hairstylists (including Oscar Cullinan) saw him become a cutting and styling specialist. Further education from Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon Academy and Schwarzkopf helped hone his skills which were on display in his capacities as a national educator for both Aveda and Redken. In these roles he travelled around Australia presenting at shows including Get Inspired, in front of 600+ hairdressers. He has also served as hair director of a multitude of MBFWA shows for brands like Ginger and Smart and Manning Cartell.
Rob Szincsak
Rob, originally from the UK, found the hair industry after high school, going onto gain his qualification and attended countless courses & seminars throughout his career. Rob’s passion lays within the mechanics of hair and the technicality behind cutting, the understanding of shape and structure of a haircut. He is all about suitability and precision cutting, whether it’s a creative cut or an everyday wearable style, it will be tailored to the individual. Rob is our Senior Men’s Stylist and is lead Men’s Educator across the EdwardsAndCo brand. Rob is keen to elevate the men’s industry and passionate about sharing his skills and understanding of men’s hair cutting.
Jaiden Ogden
Jaiden Ogden, Master Cutter, barber and Educator at our Fortitude Valley location. He has been working as a hairdresser for the past five years, starting his career working at a salon on the Gold Coast, before joining the Edwards And Co Team in 2018. It was at Edwards And Co, Jaiden really began to develop his cutting style based on the work that was being created around him. The signature balayage , beachy, Future Proof colour inspired Jaiden to specialise in textured cutting, bangs and heavy face framing. Jaiden works with a combination of razor and dry cutting, his style is technical but easy to follow and recreate. Jaiden has been involved in campaigns for Fendi, Kookai, Harper Bazaar and events for Women of Sydney. He has also had his own feature in InStyle Magazine. He specialises in hair cutting and has training in extensions and barbering.
KK Tulisi
KK started her apprenticeship in 2015 and ended up relocating from the Gold Coast E+Co to Sydney in 2018. Once in Sydney she became first assistant to Founder, Jaye Edwards, where she travelled throughout Australia and the world for global education and various on set opportunities. Now she works full time in Edwards and Co’s Crown Street salon and specialises in Colouring and Styling.
